Fort Worth

The whole city, including the neighborhoods where we get the most attic calls: the older housing stock with mature tree cover on the west and southwest sides, the near north and east neighborhoods, and the newer subdivisions further out, where the failures tend to be at vents and fascia rather than in the timber.

About this list

It is short on purpose.

A service-area page is easy to inflate, and in this trade it usually is. Some sites in this market list every county in Texas, and at least one lists a county in another state entirely. It costs nothing to type and it tells you nothing about whether anyone will actually turn up.

We would rather publish a list that is true. If you are just outside it, that does not automatically mean no. It means call and ask, and you will get a straight answer rather than a yes that turns into a scheduling problem.

What to have ready when you call

The three things that make the first conversation useful:

  • What you are hearing or seeing, and roughly what time of day
  • Where in the house it is coming from, or where the damage is
  • How long it has been going on

That is usually enough to narrow the species before anyone gets on a ladder. If you would like to work it out first, what is in my attic covers the sounds and signs.
